9/12/12 pH Lab - changing the color of H2O

In our lab groups we measured the pH of different chemicals.

Every move you make is a multiple of 10.

We took a beaker and filled it with 30 ml of tap water and put 10 drops of blue dye in it.
Which gave it a pH of 7.6

With a straw we blew into the beaker and changed the color from blue to yellow which also changed the pH to 6.0

We changed it from Basic to Acidic with our breath .
Increased the Hydrogen to 1000 pH concentrated.

Our breath blows out Carbon, water is an Acid. So the solution is Carbon Acidic
